Feed My Sheep Food Pantry - A Button UMC Ministry to Help Overcome Food Insecurity in Little Elm

Button United Methodist Church operates Feed My Sheep Food Pantry. It is open every Monday and Wednesday from 10am to noon. No appointment is needed. You do not have to live in Little Elm to receive assistance.

Our Feed My Sheep Food Pantry ministry serves anywhere from 200 to 225 people per month. It is run by volunteers, Terrie Mitchell and Edward Griffin. The pantry provides assistance with food, household necessities, hygiene products, and clothing.

Eagle Scout Mitchell McClellan purchased the initial shelving and and assembled the first food pantry layout in October 2012. It officially launched to serve the community that same month. In July 2019, another Eagle Scout, Jon Alex Cunningham, enhanced the pantry by adding runners, new flooring and lighting, and other refurbishments needed from wear and tear.
