Button Church's Kids Day Out Program
Kids Day Out (KDO) is a ministry for children ages 2 to 4 at Button United Methodist Church, serving families in the Little Elm and surrounding areas of the North Dallas area. KDO began serving the community in 2006 and since that time has operated as a social, play-based program for early childhood development. Button calls its young KDO students, Lil' Angels. All children are precious and loved by Jesus.
Early Childhood Education in Little Elm, Texas
Looking for a Christ-centered early childhood education program for your child? Then keep reading. Button UMC's Kids Day Out (KDO) program is for children ages 2 to 4. School days are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 2pm. KDO is located inside Button United Methodist Church in Little Elm, Texas.
KDO aligns its school calendar with Little Elm, Frisco, and Denton ISDs. Children must be 2 years old by September 1 to enroll in the 2-year-old class. Children must be potty trained to be enrolled in the 3- or 4-year-old classes.

Parents may wonder what a typical day would be like for their child at Button's KDO. Each class will have at least:

15 minutes for arrival activities

15 minutes for whole group activity

15 minutes for snack

30 minutes for lunch

30 minutes for music and movement with a separate teacher

30 minutes for recess

No naps at KDO. The remainder of class time is spent in centers, free play with toys, circle time, small group instruction, games, crafts, and fine or gross motor activities.

Each month's themes will have either a culminating activity for students or a family event.
